Jenny is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with over 22 years of experience in the field of Special Education. A Colorado native, Jenny received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Colorado State University, an Educational Specialist (Ed.S) in School Psychology from The University of Northern Colorado, and a Masters degree (M.Ed) in Educational Leadership from the University of Colorado. Jenny has also served as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children who have been removed from their home or guardians. Jenny is the owner of Bright Partnerships Colorado.

Jenny has served many of the school districts in the Pikes Peak region. Over the course of her professional career, she has served the local community as an Elementary Principal, Director of Special Education and School Psychologist. Through these roles, Jenny has witnessed first hand how confusing and challenging it can be for parents of a child who has specialized learning needs, to partner with their local school district. There's a lot of conflicting and miss information for parents to decipher through. This often leads to undue frustration for parents and school teams; leaving students caught in the middle.

Feeling called to help, Jenny set out with a mission to provide parents with the option to hire an advocate who will build effective partnerships between school teams and parents, instead of adversarial ones. With a passion to advocate for all kids, Jenny offers a refreshing perspective who can provide an educated voice of reason, and facilitate communication, in times of conflict. Keeping teams student focused through collaborative and respectful discussion is her number one priority. Additionally, Jenny has the robust education, work experience, knowledge and proven track record of building effective partnerships between IEP teams and parents.
